Our History
From the mines of Lampang to your table
In 1952, after working as a miner in the north of Thailand, my grandfather Boontawee had a vision to start his own business. Using his savings from the mines, he purchased land in the mountains of Lampang and started supplying clay to ceramics factories in the area and other parts of Thailand.
Almost two decades later in 1986, the next generation of our family started a ceramics factory in Grandpa’s honor by using the clay from those same mountains in Lampang to develop handmade ceramics. Since then, we have been specializing in creating handcrafted stoneware fired at high temperature our products are unique because we do not follow the market mass production and fleeting trends. Every piece in ceramics collection is made by hand with use of natural colors rich clay. Items food safety dish washer microwave friendly.
All of our products have been developed by local artists who create with the sense of authenticity and heritage that defines the culture of northern Thailand, mixing with modern and thoughtful design. Our ceramics designed by our family member Switchaya Yingseree, based in New York city. She works closely with her local pottery marker both in Lampang Thailand and in New York city. Many products are also inspired by family members who spend time in the factory, crafting and playing with the clay until they produce a unique piece. We hope that you find this feeling in whichever piece you eventually call your own.
